I’ve had a fairly Interesting-Convos, regarding the Dynamics of at-Taqlīd/Religio-Blind-Following. The Actual-Concept pontificates/promotes the Assertion that the Vast-Majority of Muslims (relative to the Revelation of The Qur’ān) are incapable to truly comprehending at-Tanzīl/Revelation (via The Qur’ān & the Sunnah/Prophetic-Tradition). That’s a Serious-Problem for me.

That Type/Kind of Religio-Posture is very much extremely disempowering for the Following-Reasons:

a. Fatāwā (Non-Revelatory Religio-Rulings) aren’t Set-In-Stone Things. Just as Mālik ibn-Anas once stated: “The Madhab/Religio-Posture of anyone can be freely accepted or rejected, except the Occupier of This-Grave (pointing to the Grave of Muhammad [Peace be upon them] via al-Madīnah).

b. It doesn’t matter whom issues a Fatwā (Non-Revelatory Religio-Ruling): it’s not obligatory to exclusively adhere to that, especially if at-Tanzīl/Revelation (via The Qur’ān & the Sunnah/Prophetic-Tradition) trumps it.

c. No one…literally no one is beyond/above an-Nasīhah (Critique, Criticism, Correction, Condemnation, etc.), except Allah. And, only Anbiyā’/Prophetic-Individuals (Peace be upon them altogether) possess the Maqām/Religio-Position of being Ma`sūm/Protected (meaning protected from Religio-Error), because only Anbiyā’ were given at-Tanzīl.

1 Particular-Person (attempting to prove their Case for Pro-Muqallidism) sent me the Following-Article:

Number-1…As per the Above-Article…it clearly pontificates/claims Several-Things which’re Dead-Wrong:

a. Being Non-Muqallid (Non-Compliant with any Madhab/Religio-Legal School) isn’t a Hizb/Religio-Sectarian Group. That’s simply an Unintelligent-Statement & it shows how Pathologically-Ignorant/Biased they truly are.

b. To accuse any Fellow-Muslim of being Hizbī/Religio-Sectarian is al-Buhtān/al-Humazah (Slander) by definition…a Kibār (Infamnia/Major-Sin).

c. There’s absolutely 0 Revelatory/Textual-Farīdhah (Islāmic-Mandate) to comply with any Madhab/Religio-Legal School.

d. The Madhāhib/Religio-Legal Schools realistically are only relevant as per establishing Islāmic-Judiciary, which ironically only the Remnants of Islāmic-Judiciary exists within the Muslim-World. And that’s exclusively because Muslims now either dwell within Muslim-Countries ruled via Secular-Governments (as opposed to al-Khilāfah/Islāmic-Governance), or dwell within Non-Muslim Countries.

e. al-`Aqīdah/Islāmic-Theology is literally the Only-Branch of Islāmic-Knowledge where it’s 💯%-Mahrūm/Islāmically-Prohibited to be a Muqallid/Religio-Blind-Follower, because that deals with an Individual’s Personal-Relationship with Allah. And every Muslim has the Farīdhah to know al-`Aqīdah.

Number-2…Clearly, the Author of This-Article doesn’t know what they’re talking about:

a. Being a Non-Muqallid honestly has 0 to do with being Non-Compliant with any Madhāhib. There’s Countless-Muslims who’ve chosen Madhāhib whom’re Non-Muqallids & likewise there’s Muslims personally whom’re Muqallids & have never went under the Banner of any Madhāhib.

b. Realistically you’ve 0-Data (neither historically nor contemporaneously) to overtly determine who’s a Muqallid vs. Non-Muqallid.

c. Every Average-Muslim (relative to the Revelation of The Qur’ān), historically, are Zhāhirīs/Literalists by default.

Another Pro-Muqallid Argument pontificated/promoted is that “Regular-Muslims” (essentially) don’t possess the Brain-Power necessary to properly comprehend/conclude Nuzūl/Revelatory-Texts without exclusively being Religio-Academically Shackled to Religio-Academics. This undeniably opposes the Usūl/Principles of al-Islām & I can prove as such:

a. Allah states, “The Qur’ān was revealed via the Month-Of-Ramadhān. Within it is Guidance for Humanity.”.
(Noble-Qur’ān: Chpt.2, V.185)

at-Tanzīl is for every Human to comprehend…not exclusively for any Pseudo Religio-Academic Caste/Class of Individuals.

b. Allah states, “And convey concerning the Favor of your Lord.”.
(Noble-Qur’ān: Chpt.93, V.11)

Every Muslim is commanded via This-Āyah/Verse to relay the Favors which Allah has imposed upon them: the Greatest-Of-Favors obviously being al-Hudā/al-Hidāyah (Guidance) via al-Islām.

c. Muhammad (Peace be upon them) stated, “Relay from me, even if only 1-Āyah.”.
(al-Bukhārī)

Any/all Muslims have the Islāmic-Entitlement/Justification to pontificate/convey al-Islām as long as what they’re pontificating/conveying is predicated upon Revelatory/Textual-Sources.

d. The Statement of Mālik ibn-Anas (ironically one of the Founders/Progenitors of the Madhāhib: the Mālikī-Madhab): “Anyone’s Kalām/Speech can be freely accepted or rejected, except the Occupier of This-Grave (pointing towards the Grave of Muhammad [Peace be upon them] via al-Madīnah).

This undoubtedly proves that even the Constructors of These-Madhāhib knew for a Fact that none of their Religio-Academia/Scholarship could ever match/trump Revelation.

In general, instead of Muslims attempting to suppress each other’s Religio-Voice & attempt to force Other-Muslums to agree with them-What must/should occur is better/more Religio-Cooperation between Fellow-Muslims, regardless of what we agree/disagree upon. Because, realistically: if we solely focus upon Agreement vs. Disagreement, that literally deflects the Necessity for Muslims to work towards any True-Sense of al-Ijtimā`/Unity upon al-Haqq/Truth…just as the Islāmic-Principle reads, “Truth is Truth, regardless of whom/where it comes from.”. None of us are Islāmically-Mandated to agree with one another. Rather, we’re all Islāmically-Mandated to accept Truth:

a. Allah states: “And never let your hatred, against any People, prevent you from behaving justly.”
(Noble-Qur’ān: Chpt.5, V.8)

b. Muhammad (Peace be upon them) stated: “Apathy/Arrogance is denying Truth & disrespecting People.”
(an-Nawawī)

c. Mu`ādh ibn-Jabal (May Allah be pleased with them) stated: “Always accept Truth, even if/when it comes from a Disbeliever or a Sinful-Person.”
(Abū-Dāwud)
