This is literally what the United States is doing Nationwide: imposing directly/indirectly the Asylum/Immigration-Responsibility (which actually belongs to Governance) upon Citizenry. It’s unjust by default. This is Total-Hypocrisy: this is a horrible & dangerous. I most definitely don’t/won’t support this. To even incentivize (in This-Case attempting to Guilt-Bribe) Persons to take-on the Responsibilities of ensuring the Welfare of Asylum-Seekers, Immigrants, etc. is a really Bad-Idea.
Scenarios like these are literally reflective of how British-Colonists were bribed/forced to house British Military-Personnel via the British Coastal-Colonies of North-America. This, of course, Post American-Revolution, gave rise to a U.S.-Constitutional Amendment prohibiting Forcible-Housing of anyone into anyone else’s Dwelling: it’s called the 3rd-Amendment.
Also, moreover, most importantly: if/whenever anyone is incentivized to care for Another-Human, the Profit-Motive ends-up largely taking precendence & the Humanity via Service to the Other very often gets corrupted and/or lost. This-Initiative proposed has the Potential to yield Disasterous-Effects, which Government-Officials in favor of these Types/Kinds of Initiatives honestly don’t even care about.
Furthermore, which Immigrants can even apply to be taken-in by Families?!!! Does Governance actually expect People to just taken-in Strangers from Various-Parts of the Planet, without knowing anything about them-It doesn’t matter where they’re from honestly. These-Persons whom’re being targetted to house Immigrants via Guilt-Bribery (let’s actually call it what it is): realistically they’ve 0-Idea the Kinds/Types of Wellness-Needs those whom they take-in need, they’ve 0-Idea what Types/Kinds of Trauma these Asylum-Seekers/Immigrants have self-imposed upon themselves or Others, they’ve 0-Idea which Types/Kinds of Trauma have been imposed upon those whom they’re expected to house, Criminal-Background Checks haven’t been done on all of These-Persons, etc.
Plus, what about the Untold/Countless-Millions of Destitute U.S.-Citizens which Governance does little2nothing for whom’re in just as much Need as Asylum-Seekers?!!! Someone make this Goofy-Shit make Sense. I know, for a Fact, that Incentives like this have literally never been proposed via U.S.-Governance for anyone Indigenous/Naturalized via the United States…how/why?!!! It’s simply because doing that:
a. It would prove that Governance actually cares about/for its Citizenry, as opposed to attempting to do Things as per Political-Convenience/Agenda.
b. It would prove that Governance is managing Social/General-Welfare (ironically Part of the Preamble of the U.S.-Constitution) responsibly, as opposed to imposing That-Responsibility upon its Citizenry.
There’s Lots of Agenda-Driven Aspirations, behind (quite literally) openning the Floodgates of Asylum to Immigrants. Various Political-Objectives are at Stake, on the Table, etc. The handling/mismanaging of the Immigration-Issue is literally something which’ll directly/overtly determine the Future of the United States for better or worse. I mean, let’s face it: the U.S. is Nova Roma (the New-Rome). And, ironically, one of the Key Historical-Causes of the Breakdown/Collapse of the Western-1/2 of the Roman-Empire was Uncontrolled-Asylum/Immigration of Gaelic/Celtic-Peoples from Gaul, Germania, Hispania (Modern-Day Germany, Holland/the Netherlands, Belgium, Swizterland, France, Spain/Portugal, etc.) into Western-Roman Provences.

Now, don’t get me wrong: I agree that These-People who’ve reached the U.S. deserve Basic Human-Rights, Dignified-Ammenities, etc. However, the U.S.-Government is responsible for this, not the Average U.S.-Citizen. Basically, the U.S.-Government wants Others to do their Job for them, while the U.S.-Government gets all the Credit. It’s literally like in School, how a Student volunteers to do an Assignment, only to attempt bribing their Fellow-Students to do their Work for them.
