Mental-Illness has absolutely nothing inherently to do with anyone being “Impious”, “Unrighteous”, “Irreligious”, “Sinful”, etc. If it did, then only Mushrikūn Shirkers, Kuffār/Disbelievers, Fāsiqūn Sinners, etc. would have Psychological/Mental-Pathologies.

The Aforementioned details the Pushback against what’s titled “Conversion-Therapy”. Clearly, for Obvious-Reasons: those whom pontificate/promote, profit from, etc. the Proliferation of al-Liwāt/Homosexuality would resist “Conversion-Therapy”. And, honestly, I’m not at all claiming that “Conversion-Therapy” actually works. But, what I am saying definitively…as a Clinical-Professional: a Chaplain (Counselor/Therapist)…when it comes to as-Sihah/Wellness, attempting to normalize al-Liwāt isn’t any Solution either. Now, before I continue, let me make it very clear: al-Liwāt isn’t a Mental-Illness, rather it’s a Spiritual-Pathology…it’s an Ithm/Sin.

And, like any Ithm: it’s a Sifah/Manifestation of al-Ma`siyah/Disobedience against Allah. So, in order to address any Sin: one must examine the Asbāb/Reasons how/why anyone has become attached/addicted to any Sin, how/why anyone acquires Desire/Love for any Sin, how/why were Persons even exposed to any Sin, etc. These aren’t Comfortable-Convos for Most-People to have. It would self-expose too much concerning the Deepest/Darkest-Dimensions of ourselves, which we spend our Entire-Lives attempting to shield from Public-Knowledge. No one is inherently willing to become that vulnerable, in order to acquire ar-Ruqyah/Healing, in spite of the Fact that Vulnerability is a Vital-Component to Spiritual & Psycho-Emotional Ruqyah.

The Countless-Proponents of al-Liwātiyyah/Homo-Culture uses the Fragility/Drawbacks of the Concept “Conversion-Therapy” as a Pseudo-Justification to “validate” al-Liwāt. They’re honestly unprincipled/insincere via their Disdain against it.
