al-Islām vs. Arabism

To be even more accurate/honest: al-Islām has never had an `Urf/Culture (not even prior to the Revelation of The Qur’ān). However, al-Islām has always respected (allowed Muslims to have their own) `Urfiyyah/Cultural-Dynamics so long as they don’t oppose at-Tanzīl/Revelation. This is particularly/especially important, because, sadly the Muslim-World has adopted Arabism…as though pontificating/claiming anything related to al-Islām derives from Arab-Culture. This is done both subconsciously & consciously. From unecessarily adopting Arab-Dress/Arabic-Names, to speaking Non-Arabic Languages with Arab-Accents, etc.: literally all of this is a Sifah/Manifestation of al-`Asabiyyah/Xenophobia via Cultural-Colonization.

One of the Greatest-Fallacies which Muslim Non-Arabs have fallen for is the “Muslim-Only” Mythos/Pseudo-Narrative…there’s no such Thing as this. We’re not “Muslim-Only”, rather we’re Muslim-1st. Being a Muslim isn’t the Only-Dimension of our Identity, it’s the Most-Important Dimension of our Identity…it’s not the Only-Thing which makes us who we are, it’s the Most-Important Thing concerning who we are. And, for the Muslim, it’s Life&Death-Important to know the Difference.
