Allah states:
“For verily, with Hardship there’s Ease. Verily, with Hardship there’s Ease.”

All of the Makhlūq (Creation) of Allah has & will be tested, either with something or by something, either with soneone or by someone, etc.

al-Qadr wal-Qadhā’ is the 6th-Rukn/Pillar, amongst the 6-Arkān/Pillars of what’s known as al-Īmān/Islāmic-Theology.
al-Qadr:
Everything which has ever, or will ever take place, has been predetermined by Allah.
al-Qadhā’:
Allah has decided all that there’s ever been, as well as all that there’ll ever be.
Muslims are Islāmically-Required to accept al-Qadr wal-Qadhā’, regardless of whether Happenings turn out to be Positive or Negative.

As Centuries have passed, from the Days of the Khilāfah-Periods to the Modern Muslim-World, “Mahdī-Culture” has captivated the Minds&Hearts of Muslims globally. And No…this is not a Good-Thing to Dick-Ride “Mahdī-Culture”.

The Reason how/why is because of what exists via the Muslim-World rite now currently. Countless-Muslims whom’re comfortable & complacent as per their Human-Condition, expecting some “Savior” to arrive and magically make it all better. No…that’s not how This-Shit works. al-Mahdī will most definitely do any/all of what Allah has decreed/decided for them to accomplish…that’s not even the Issue.
The Issue itself is Muslims aimlessly awaiting al-Mahdī to be their “Savior”. We must be our own Saviors. No one is obligated to “save” us from our own Conditions, except ourselves:
“Those whom believe pay attention: Upon you are yourselves.”
(Noble-Qur’ān: Chpt.5, V.105)
“Verily, Allah doesn’t change what’s within any People unless/until they change what’s within themselves.”
(Noble-Qur’ān: Chpt.13, V.11)
“Those whom believe pay attention: Save yourselves & your Peoples from Fire.”
(Noble-Qur’ān: Chpt.66, V.6)
Always be Qitāl/Combat-Ready
The Marām (Objective/Mission) of al-Mahdī isn’t to be a “Savior”. They’re only coming to fulfill a Prophecy foretold by Muhammad via at-Tanzīl/Revelation…nothing less & nothing more than that.
Conclusion for our Ummah
Make ad-Du`ā’/Verbal-Prayer, for Allah to remove any/all Things which causes our Weakness, Derelictions, Cowardice, etc.
